Bax & Dad's excellent adventure

A 13 year old son and dad take a year off formal schooling to have a experiential learning year. The year will consist of the study of 3 classics, Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance,huck finn, and walden. These books will be studied along with experiences such several motorcycle trips, building a cabin, and rafting down a river.

You know you hit civilization when ...

.....You see summer cottages with more windows than a hardware store with a satallite dish. I was quite excited when I saw this as I knew we were close to home
