A little off the top please


I started to ship lap the floor today but realized there was too much variation in the thickness of the boards so off to the planer we go.

So how did the planing go? Did you have to take quite a bit off some and how long does it take for the fattest board to go through?

The boards currently are about 1 3/8". Some boards went throught 3-4 time to get the thickness, while other boards didn't even get shaved. The next day off we will have to take down another 1/4" and then I think they will all be the same width. I can only shave off about 1/16 every pass, otherwise the board gets jammed.
