Our first capsize

Byron and I found some poplar logs that beavers had taken down in the Necoslie River. Bax and I headed out on tuesday to start cutting them up for our raft. We took the zodiak and towed the canoe behind. As we were heading into the Necoslie we slowed down to get through some old pilings. The canoe turned just as the wake of the boat was crashing and this pulled the canoe under water. All of our tools (chainsaw, peavee, cables) were in the canoe. I tried to keep the canoe upright as it was filling with water while bax jumped in the river to rescue the things floating down the river. We uprighted the canoe and continued our trip down the river. We fortuantely didn't loose any of our tools, however we had to pull the spark plug and air filter and dump the water that got into the chainsaw. After an hour of drying out we were able to start the saw and start cutting logs for the raft.
