Days 1 and 2

It's Wednesday today, we're just getting ready for day 2 of building our raft.(By the By we're going on a raft trip) right now we have 3 logs cut to length, grooved, and tied together. We need about 7 more logs for our raft before we can build our decking, paddles, and a spot for the tent. Our trip will take about a week not including building time.
We came down on Monday night, got here about 5:15, missed about 8 minutes of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final (can't believe Edmonton lost by the way) and my dad and uncle Byron went along the river to find some logs while I just stayed at the house.
On Tuesday we left after lunch to start the raft. On our way out to the site, we were draging the canoe behind the boat and the canoe flipped! with all our stuff in it! so I quickly leaped out of the boat to grab all the stuff. Miraculously the chainsaw, peavey, and all of our cable and tools didn't sink and I just had to grab the floating stuff including Work gloves, first aid kit, rope, and chocolate milk that we had bought for a snack. even more lucky than the chainsaw not sinking is it still started and ran like normal after a quick air-out.
After our first capsize everything went fairly smoothly. We found a spot to keep the boat and unload or stuff, then we used the canoe to go to the logs and start cutting them up. After our first 2 logs I became very cold because in the little river there was no sun and I was soaking wet. I would have taken off my wet shirt, but the bugs were so bad I just couldn't. So after one more log we called it a day and went back to the house.
Now, It is Wednesday, we are packing our lunch and ready for day 2 of building
