Bax & Dad's excellent adventure

I have spent the last 3 days while Bax has been visiting his uncle Byron milling the floor boards. They are just over 1 inch thick. They are 8" wide and have a beautiful blue stain from the pine beetle. I plan to ship lap the boards so that there is room for them to shrink to size when they dry. The plan is to lay them down initially and then readjust them once the roof is on and they have time to season over the winter.

I had planned to cut them tonight but I got called out to fight a structural fire in Red Rock. I guess the carport will house them tonight.
