If you don't have something nice to say ...
We pack the bike thinking that although not perfect it was a decent job. Remember that road I spoke of into Brewster Lake, well it got a little rougher on the way out. The steep climb was much rougher and ruttier on the way up, I think it jarred a few fillings loose. We then get onto Menzies main forestry road and start our 15 km drive out. Just as we are getting comfortable I hear a large crash, then a grinding sound as all our gear falls off the bike and is getting dragged behind the back tire. What a sinking feeling. I pull over to the side of the road as to be out of the way of the loaded logging trucks, and repack the bike from scratch, this time with a few modifications. I should have taken a picture of this whole ordeal but instead I was too angry and impatient to see the moment for what is was.
